JavaScript Object Reference

Objects are collections of properties, or as the more nerdly say, collections of name-value pairs. Essentially, objects are containers that contain properties, methods, and even other objects. Javascript has a number of build-in objects. Each of these is described in general below, with links to more detailed information, including lists of the properties and methods associated with each object type.

The Global Object

The Window Object

String Objects

Array Objects
